80% city driving at 60 to 70 kms lotsa red lights i still get about 500kms to the full tank
Te manual-no mods-mostly grandpa driving (sitting at the 100km speed limit)
About 90% highway driving, but theres some big hills to go up and down.
You forgot to define how much a "tank" was Bain, if i used the whole 71L the range would be around 750-800km. But for some reason my fuel light comes on at around 51L
CAI, VR-X muffler, Other than that i got 11.5 -12.3 /100km every week but since ive added the CAI ive got 13.5/100kms so the CAI is coming off.
I usually get over 700km from a tank (bloody expensive to fill though:rant: ) with a mixture of approximately 65% freeway and 35% suburban driving (commuting to and from work with no passengers). It works out around 8.5-9.5l/100km give or take.
If I go out driving on the weekend I get a bit less obviously (more suburban driving, may have passengers = less fuel economy).
Car is mechanically stock and runs on normal ULP.
kbye:)
I get about 750 kilometres from a tank generally, and this is mainly Melbourne to Geelong. I find that running about the suburbs doesn't hurt that figure too much, providing that there is not too much stop/start. I have seen an average figure of mid 6 litres per 100kms on the trip computer while travelling in Gippsland over a distance of 100 kilometres or so. This is in a TH Advance 3.5 auto.
2000 3.5l TH Advance Wagon. Totally stock engine wise.
600-680km per tank(if i run it till dead empty) usually sits about 9.5-10.2 average fuel usage on the trip computer.
Country open road driving most of time to and from work, some country town driving on weekend. Usually put the boot into it overtaking trucks or lines of cars but other than that I use cruise control set to 100 most of the time with minimal stops and starts through towns/at intersections.
mods = Pod, Zorst, Stractors, eManage
driving style = on the quick side, all the time
401-450 a tanks :D (without the fuel light turningo on, never seen it lol)
You probably had 20L left in the car and thats why it never came on.Quote:
