Default Replacing motor on TE 3.0 V6?

Hi guys, missus just picked up a v6 magna I got it on the road for her but a cooling line came off and she cooked the heads (coolant in all the spark plug sockets and exhaust coming through radiator cap).

I'm picking up a second hand motor from wrecker and wondering what's the best way to swap the motors (either video or written guide) and I assume I'll need to put the old transmission on the new motor).

I got quoted $1,500 supplied and fitted and being single income that's out of the question (Only paid $300 for car and about $400 to get it rwc).

Extent of my knowledge is replacing control arms, ball joints, drive shafts etc.

It's a really big job, and not one that could be easily mastered without some prior experience in other areas.

Do you have access to an engine crane, or are you able to hire one?

Do you have all the necessary hand tools?
