    Default draining 380 block

    per the title, is there a plug or a way to drain the coolant frrom the block on a 380?

    trying to flush everything out after trying some radiator stop leak so i can clean fill it and presure test it but cant see anything near the themostat that might be a drain plug

    I believe you drain from the bottom of the radiator

    There are 2 drain cocks in the block - front bank and rear bank.

    The following image is from section 14/Magna Engine Cooling of the workshop manual:

    I am sorry for the poor drawing, but it is the fault of the workshop manual - not me.

    I have not tried to reach these on my car, but I believe that they are somewhat difficult to reach.

    On a 380, I believe that there are also the "cats" in the way, which may make things more difficult.

    The threads need coating with sealant when reinstalling.

    that only drains the radiatorwhich is half to 3/4 at best, not whats still in the block
