Default Anyone seen any AWD Magna at Wreckers

Does anyone know any wreckers or anyone that has an AWD Magna?
I'm after the alloy cross member. The normal Magna has a different cross member.
Has anyone any advice on whether it can be welded together?

    Thanks

Hey mate, sorry but I think you will have a really really hard time finding a wrecked AWD. I've been looking for years for one. Perhaps go to an engineer to see if it can be welded?

Doesnt Alscall have a wrecked AWD ??
    ...
I am sure that any state will struggle to put on an equivalent to what MMX was, it was awesome both in the aspect of events and the social aspect after cruises,

I suggest to send Al a PM. I have a rough idea what he has but you are best to ask him yourself!

    Just noticed this.....

Unfortunately guys, most of this car, (what's left of it) will be staying with me.

I'm aware of how hard they are to find in the wreckers too so figure I'll keep everything on it until I no longer own an AWD. (Or until stuff becomes so rare that it's worth a large bunch of $$$$)

There is a AWD TL Magna going today at the auctions in WA.

But the transport costs to Qld would be too huge.
If anyone wants to buy it, I'll buy the cross member from you.
Generally the price range for a normal TL is $1400, TL AWD is $2500 upwards, TJ AWD $1200 upwards

A wrecker in Sydney had an AWD last yr, just gotta think of their name...... was three letters like GCM or something, and in a suburb like Padstow. Get back to me if you want me to track the name down - I look in the Sydney street directory would help me narrow it down......

I suspect a TJ Solaris that is AWD at a wreckers nearby. Only a quick walk by, but the rear seat was taken out and there was a pannel removed from under where the seat goes (a small square one) that you could see oil inside of. Pretty sure the FWD's don't have it.

Car was dark green with grey skirts. This was at ACE Wreckers, Townsville.
