Default Transmission/diff oil for Verada KJ

I have Penrite ATF FS fluid which I am thinking to use in my Verada. Is it safe to use non-Mitsubishi oil in the transmission?

The price of Mitsubishi ATF is $115 which is very expensive than other brands of oil.

I may also change the diff oil of any brand, how much do I needed.

    Thanks

I fail to see why a dealer is charging you so much for genuine SP3 Mitsubishi Trans fluid. I bought a 5 litre bottle from the local dealer for $48 & it was about a dollar cheaper the time before.
Tell your dealer that there's a mistake, you shouldn't be paying more than 50 or so dollars.
5 litres is enough for a regular flush & you'd need just under 9 litres for a full flush.

Personally, I only ever use genuine Mitsubishi diamond SP3. When I went to the transmission specialist to get my transmission seviced & wave spring washer replaced a few years ago, I had a blonde moment & bought 9 litres of Nulon fully synthetic multi-vehicle transmission fluid. The transmission guy just looked at me and then strongly recommended I use the genuine fluid as there would be a chance of erratic transmission behaviour or premature failure if I used something else. I promptly returned the nulon & repaced it with genuine. My mechanic is of the same opinion concerning Mitsubishi automatics - only use genuine.

The diffs aren't so anal as the auto trans, so I used nulon diff fluid for the transfer case & nulon LSD fluid for the rear diff. Again you can get genuine Diaqueen diff fluid for the the AWD's diffs & buy the diaqueen friction modifer to add to the fluid for the rear LSD.
Diffs require very little fluid, only around 250 mls for the transfer case & about the same for the rear LSD from memory.

Same info as ADM, only use Mitsubishi oil in transmission. For the transfer case and diff I used Penrite 80w - 90 with the anti shudder modifier. I bought 2.5l of the gear oil and I have approx half a bottle left so transfer case and diff do not take much oil at all.
