TRs came with 2.6 I4 only and KRs came with 3.0 V6 only. None came with 3.5 V6. Either way, not much out there except custom made ones. I did get a TF 3.0 V6 front pipes fitted to my old Verada V6XI. That was purely to have a smoother flow where the front and rear banks met (nice smooth Y join instead of a T join).
they actually do make tr 3.5l v6s

Really, hahahahahahahaha I guess if I told you they make (not made) TR's and TS still now in Syberia you would also believe that
The Second Gen came with V6 3.0 6G72 in the Verada, 4G54 in the Magna. In the last of the TR they then introduced the 3.0 6G72
The Diamante (and was a rare option) came with the 6G74 D4 but not in Australia and NOT called a Magna either.
Get your facts right champ, these cars have not been in production since late 1995 and certainly were not in Australia
The first gen Diamante that the TR/TS/KR/KS was based on came with the 3.0 DOHC 6G72 as the top engine. The 6G74 DOHC however was in the S22A Debonair but that is very rare. Even the 2nd gen Diamante in Japan (what the TE/KE+ was based on) still didn't get larger than a 3L. 3.5L was first found in the Australian TE/KE 3rd gen shape.
Instead of ridiculing the new member, why not give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him to elaborate on his post, especially since he may be an international member who owns one of those rare Diamantes?
I'd love to order one of those Siberian made TS 3.5L in a wagon. Which dealer do I need to see? Can I pay in AU dollars, or does it need to be in Roubles?
(conversion is 1.00 AUD = 48.72 RUB)
Spetz, ol' friend, ol' buddy, dude - Google 'baptism of fire' and 'initiation ceremony'. Every new member to a group, tribe, forum, whatever, who strolls in and says "I know my Stuff" gets a dose. You did, I did, fact of life.![]()

That is correct although the 3.0 (and the 2.5) DOHC were very different motors. There were also as I am lead to believe some 3.5 towards the end of the First Gen Diamante Run but this may well be bad information.
The TE (for lack of better way of putting it) was also a DOHC and came as a 3.0 or 2.5 as well as MIVEC or GDI but lets not confuse the lad here.
He stated he wanted something, was told it did not exist and then argued the point. Add to this he is referring to TR not Diamante etc so would assume he is in Australia
Mitsubishi engine history is interesting, for sure. The big V6 has fallen out of favour though, not too many Mitsu models left if you want a V6.
