Well, I have jumped on and bought some. Applied this morning and its pretty straightforward. First impressions are that it darkens the wheel, the process itself seems much like the weekly shoe cleaning ritual.

About the only downside is that the colour disparity means I then feel compelled to apply some low shine armor all to the rest of the wheel, the dash and elsewhere to even out the blackness.
Lamenting the loss of Australian manufacturing.

    1998 - 2005 Mirage - still missed
2005 - TL AWD Magna still paying for upkeep

Pre `98 - non Mitsis including two Fords, a Toyota and a Daihatsu

What I intended to ask in my post #41 was:

Does the Oakwood product make the leather feel softer?

It felt dry before. Now it feels more.... supple, maybe. Its hard to describe.

I'm going to have to give this stuff a try. I've been lucky and the wheel still feels really good with no cracks but I wouldn't mind some preventative measures.

So Update - Got both the wipe cleaners and the Hydrating Cream. Gave them both a try. Its been a week and I am happy enough with the result. Must of my leather was holding up really well but there was one spot on the steering wheel that feels a lot better now.
Time will tell but I'd definitely recommend so far.
