    Default DIY Air/Fuel Ratio Meter

    Title: DIY AIR/FUEL RATIO Meter

What: This is a poor man's narrow band A/F Ratio Meter. It cost me less than $10 and 3 hrs of my time.
I'm expecting that this little box will provide me also a little information about air and fuel mixture of my engine.

You'll need: Vehicle Voltage Monitor (from Dick Smith) Special Price $7.49
Zippy Box (from Dick Smith) $2.50

This kit can also be used as Battery voltage monitor, Air Flow Meter or Air/Fuel Ratio Meter. But at this point I intend to use it a AFR Meter

Difficulty: If you have a little background in soldering, this kit will be very easy to build. The kit comes with an instruction and parts references.

ETA: How long does it take for a novice? 1-3 hrs
Instructions: I will not include the instructions anymore on how I build this project since the kit comes with it.
So what I will just show you are some photos during the construction and the finished project.

    Kit and zippy box

All parts layed up for checking if complete before starting.

    In-process of soldering the parts.

All soldering were done, just needed to sit the IC.

This is how I soldered and connected all the parts.

This is how I fitted the pcb inside the box, little mod in the box and the pcb.

    Box with $0.20

    Now ready for installation

Reference: Autospeed also made article on how to build a similar gauge. https://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_0217/article.html

    Sorry for typo error: Ration=Ratio
Can somebody correct the title please. Thanks
