READ: Before you post an unofficial Meets/Cruises.
G'day all.
It's great to see that the members of the Victorian section of AMC have such enthusiasm and drive to organise their own meets and cruises. It's even better to see that the weekly meets are getting such regular and large attendances. I hope this continues on and please don't hesitate to organise your own meet/cruise.
But before posting up about any kind of unofficial cruise/minimeet, can all members please PM NORBY and/or MGNTZD in regards to who/what/where/when/why/how. In the past these unofficial cruises/meets have forced us to postpone and push back our own official meets so as not to clash with others.
Lately we have noticed that some of the "unofficial" meets/cruises are actually official meets/cruises for another club. But this information was not disclosed and we have been postponing/pushing back our own cruises/meets so as not to clash with these meets. We do not approve of this at all and will not be tolerating it at all from now on.
So please, before posting up a meet/cruise, communicate with us so that we can organise the best time to have these events.
