or if you really want a rwd magna go get a TJ awd and take ot the front CV's it aint reccomended bbut you'll get your desired effect
Lots. You need an engine, a gearbox, custom mounts, hoses, you'll probably need to modify the chassis, wheel hubs, suspension, everything.
This is my iron horse, and it's got a drinking problem.
Just throw the engine in the boot. The car would be a RR (rear engine, rwd)![]()
this would cost so much and take so long it is not worth it unless you have a spare 20k around and really want it done.
I can think of a REALLY dodgy way of doing it the car would be 4wd and have 2 enginesOriginally Posted by The Photographer

yeah ive got a way to do it, throw out your current engine and make your bonnet into a luggage compartment.
mount a lawnmower engine in your boot and just take off the boot lid so no need for exauhst. cut a hole in the floor pan and mount a cog on your rear axle, run a chain from the mower to the axle, connect your fuel line to the fuel tank, extend the tortuise to rabbit speed controller to the drivers seat and away you go.
Est. HP rear wheel: 1
EST top speed: 20km/h
0-20km/h, 5 minutes hahah
Would a lawnmower engine have enough power to move the catr but?Originally Posted by The Photographer

expensive, need awd gearbox if suitable in japanese models, probably need custom floor plan, for centre diff and rear diff housing and custom rear drive shafts. I'll give it a go, when i finish my degree. awd is easy enough to then go to rwd...
Unless others have attempted i do believe the 1st post was enough. Due to awd set ups in japanese models i'm sure it'd be possible, just people don't view the magna as being extra ordinary enough to try it.
ps don't think of paying people to do this unless your sitting on well over 100k a year and love your car as much as i do.
If you have a 3rd gen the is already a awd on the market, convert that to manual
