    Default HID Lights

hey guys would live to put HID's in the magna was more wondering about the heat that they are prone to I know that you can't have HID's in a 3rd gen Subaru Liberty B4 as they melt the headlight cover was wondering has anyone had any similar problems and how easy are they to install?

99% of the ppl here will tell you not to do it.. because they arn't 'legall' etc etc.. yet everyone seems to run darker than legal tint.. hipocrites.. anyway..

I've fitted a set in my 1 peice polycarb parra's in my KJ, a mate had some in his 04 TL, and have fitted some to an IS200.. all polycarb lenses.. none ever have problems..

so you most certailey CAN do it.. so yeh.. happy HID'ing..

they are quite esay to install. but as Matty.C said many people on here have different opinions towadrs them because they are an illegal mod and the way they dispurse light. i reckon in the end its up2 wether u want to put them in or not. I've had them in my 97TF with paras and i think they worked a treat. i didnt have any issues with the lights at all...

i was under the impression that u could only have HID's if your headlight cover was glass....

I bought the Philips H7 kit however need to get a relay kit installed first. The HID appear to turn off within 60sec, as the wire is getting quite hot.

But yeah, get Philips, they are german made. The ballast anyways.
