Here we are people, pic of it installed in my car. Its on a 2nd gen with cruise control, and to my suprise, the wiring was identical, so it was a case of unplug and plug for the wiring, easy as

Enjoy, was getting dark when I took them, so first pic is with flash so you can see detail, but the colours/look are more realistic on the 2nd pic without flash. Oh and last one is one of my car as i had just washed it

I'm not sure if it's the flash but it looks like the re-coloured bits still have a tinge of red showing..

How much did it set you back, $75 was it?

I'm pretty much sure the shoe repair shop can re-dye it for cheaper price.

Nice work. BTW, anyone know what the difference is between the MOMO Ralliart steering
wheel and that on mine? Visually, mine is missing the MOMO badge. See my sig for an image
    of my steering wheel.

I have a similar wheel, except my inserts are metallic silver.

It cost me $75, and it was re-dyed, not re-trimmed. Re-trimming would have been a lot more expensive. I am not sure if they re-coloured the whole wheel or just the red bits, I think they mainly did the red bits and then blended it in by putting a light coat all over.

So it will probably cost the same or nearly the same if you want to change the colour of the whole wheel, and yeh they just use soem dye so I am sure they can do absolutely any colour you wish for.

vlad your wheel seems exactly the same except for the perforated momo section at the bottom which is curous. Dunno why they didnt just use the same wheel, maybe they would have had to pay royalty to momo or something.

I cant really see red, but I just looked at the wheel again, and if you go up real close and look down the deep stiching/join parts, you can just see traces of a little bit of red, which they couldnt get down to with the dye or whatever, but I dont think you would ever notice it unless you were looking for it.

Pretty happy with it, still got my cruise control and feels much much nicer to drive with. Feels like your holding a car now, and when you drive out of an intersection I love the soft smooth leather sliding through your hands.

did your old wheel have the same cruise control stalk hanging off the wheel, or was it the type with the buttons attached to the wheel?
looks very nice, cant wait to get mine.
