Default 3.5 6g74 injectors, are they all the same?

    quick question..

are all the 3.5L ke/th/kh/tj/kj/tl etc etc 3.5L 6G74 injectors the same impedence and flow..

like if i plan to pull some injectors out of a wrecked car, get them cleaned/tested etc.. as long as it's a 3.5 it will be fine..

just trying to minimise vehicle downtime

Yeah as long as they are from a 3.5L magna/verada then they are the same (275cc factory rating). Ive used KF/TH/TJ and 380 injectors in my 3.5L build ups over the years and not once did the injector scaling need to be changed to run them.

The 380 injectors are a "better" injector overall as they are 12 hole units (better atomisation) compared to 4 hole units in the magna

Keep an eye on e-bay, there were 380 injectors that went cheap yesterday.

Are these a necessary or worthy upgrade for a tuned magna engine - the 380 injectors? What would be the benefits?

    Next to F all .

Seriously the 12 hole injectors are meant give better atomisation over the 4 hole injectors, having said that i found no power/torque advantages with them fitted to the donkey engine compared to when i had the old 4 holers in it, economy didnt seem any different either. They may be better suited to a more milder engine though

The new larger CC injectors i got from raptor are also 12 hole units.

    Also interested in answer.
Although I'm thinking if your injectors now arnt maxxing out then there isnt a need. Youd probably need a high flow fuel pump first before bigger injectors

Yeah and there injectors are maxxed out (close to it), so dave tells me.

When i had the 380 injectors in mine they were at 95% duty cycle and causing lean out over 4700rpm, this was with standard "rail" pressure. When we bumped the rail pressure up to 50psi it allowed them to be "ok" (although still abit lean for a street car etc) but with this increased rail pressure it made the fuel pump hum louder, hence why i went bigger units and now there is no need to run higher than standard rail pressure and its also helped quieten down the whining walbro (whinbro ) fuel pump a bit.
