Whilst I was parked in a multi-storey car park somebody took offence to Maggie's l/h door mirror, who doesn't like a TS Magna wagon I ask you...... Anyways the glass and backing was also squashed by them. There are two little "U" shaped clips in the head, I have a TR mirror assy on a car at home but it's silver. Does the mirror glass unclip and clipe back on? Or can I replace the whole head and does the outside cover clip off to change over? If changing the whole head it looks to be easiest to drop the door trim for the second bolts, the springs look tricky. Lot easier to ask niceley than break clips trying myself like I used to do years ago . Thanks for any help lads, the forum was handy with Maggie's immobiliser issue.
