$400 Per Tyre???

I've just been quoted $300 a corner for Goodyear F1 Eagles, 225 50 17 from Goodyear here in Canberra. They get fitted Monday or tuesday.

If they're $300 a pop here in Canberra they should be less than that everywhere else in the world. For some reason we get to pay more for everything!

got mine for $290 per corner and seriously great tyres....some how much better grip than the pirelli P6000

I paid $750 for 4 Goodyear GSD3 F1's .They 've had it at special price buy 4 pay for 3...Anyway ,i beleive they are a great tyre. Fantastic in the wet, but even in dry conditions excellent grip. Now i am running Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 and they are not as grippy in the rain, in the dry they might be a touch grippier. On e thing with F1's ,i 've had 3 punctures on them (all nails ) ,i dont know if it is just a coincidance,or someone hates me at work . Also chanells on F1's are quite wide and stones get stuck in the tread often. I would of got another set of F1's ,but they are out of stock, which might explain the price you 've paid.

i get stones stuck in the channels too. any problems with that?
