AWD power steering rack and pump same as the FWD ones

I will find out very soon... Fingers crossed! Just got myself a TL power steering rack. Part number sure looks a tad different to the TL AWD one in alscall's thread. It has a higher number... Will drop by the mechanic to suss it out. If it fits, I'll have a spare KJ2 AWD steering rack for sale... if not I'll have a spare TL FWD steering rack for sale! Win-win situation......... NOT! Muahaha....

Did it fit? Or have you got around to it yet?

Good news (for now)! My mechanic had a look whilst getting my oil changed. He said it can fit and I'll be getting him to fit it next Wed. Fingers crossed.

Alas... it didn't work. AWD power steering rack and FWD power steering rack are indeed different by just a small bit. The mounting holes for a FWD power steering rack are at 90degrees to each other but for AWD ones they are at a slight angle to each other.

Damn! Need to get an TL/TW or KL/KW AWD one!
