I want to know what they have done or how long their bulb is. My philips bulbs appear to be too close to the bulb cover which causes the return wire to spark across onto the cover. Hence why my HID's turned off. The ballast is actually screwed now

What have others done? Come on peeps. Someone out there must have a clue
i've done mine myself.. surley you have seen me getting around the algester shops (where your always parked) and around s/bank, and parkinson (where i live)... i always see you! ...

i honestly didn't have any problem.. i'm not sure what you mean buy bulb cover though.. mine i just left with the rubber jacket thing and the wires just run through that.. the past 2 years have not yeilded any issues what so ever.. no water or condensation in the headlights (which i was kinda expecting) so i just left it like that..

your more than welcome to pop round some time and have a look..

I think the HID's with the covers are for H4s, where the cover moves for hi and low beam
