The stock pumps limits seem to vary heaps. Some can get 200kws out of them and others struggle to supply fuel for 150. In all honesty a higher flowing fuel pump upgrade is cheap and easy insurance against any lean out issues due to a struggling pump. It was the first thing Steve asked me the day my car was leaning out on the dyno.
so are the 380 injectors still 275cc? or what your saying is the the factory ecu will compensate slightly for the slightly larger injectors?
my motor is pretty much stock.. and might end up staying that way.. can i just 'aquire' a set of newish 380 injectors and use them straight up..
all i want to do was grab a spare set of injectors, drop them off to a shop, pick them up the next day all cleaned and then on the weekend, swap them out, and replace the rocker cover gaskets/tube seals, give everything a clean up.. one morning on the weekend..
Now collecting old dead car batteries! PM me!
Yes they are still rated the same as the 3.5L injectors and yes they will bolt straight in and be a goer.
I have a set of 380 12 hole injectors that are virtually brand new (I bought them brand new), they have done about 1500kms of work in my magna, so they wont need cleaning etc.
Let me know if your interested and we can work out a deal/price.
i got my 380 injectors with everything else connected, for $40![]()
