As I stated in NSW if you're not at the wild end of mods, you won't mind being full blue slipped, as this is safety focused, not in an outrageous way. My plan B NSW blueslip, for 380 into AWD, if I can't rego in ACT, but I'd be surprised. However much happens to keep me humble.
If Misibits at Lonsdale Adelaide have done a lot of swaps I doubt it's a big deal even at Regency.
For an idea of the difference a set of HM headers makes (if you can find them), see my dyno report at: https://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/sh...=1#post1596077. Although the comparison was done on a 3.5 motor, the % difference on a 3.8 motor would be about the same. As for fitting, it's quite straightforward - basically disconnect all exhaust components forward of the catalytic converter, then fit the headers in their place.
There is a huge difference on the AWD going from standard front exhaust to headers as the AWD is very restrictive in the lower pipe. When I say huge you will not light up all 4 wheels however the flow is so much better
Only issue, HM are no longer made, I was a HM dealer and got the last couple of sets they had and they were sold long ago
As for the 6G75, I did one of the very first conversions way back when, have done over 400 since in to all sorts of Mits including Pajero's, Challengers, Tritons, Magna's and Verada's The change is noticeable. The average stock AWD will get mid 90'skw if that makes sense, just the motor change alone will lift that upto high 120's, do exhaust, intake manifold and a tune and high 130's to low 140's is achievable. Remember basing these numbers on the stock 380 is pointless as the 380 is that bogged down with emissions, cats etc etc when you free these motors up it makes a difference

My "pay Mal" AWD 380 conversion was inspected and registered with no issues in ACT today. 3.8 conversion was placed on NRMA paperwork for comprehensive insurance, prior to collection, open disclosure, no problems. So for ACT it seems easy.
FWIW, the my ex-VRX AWD is now listed for auction. See updated details in my previous post's link.
